2025 Golf Tournament

The HWWA Three Man Scramble at the Kapolei Golf Club

Join us for a a day of golf in Kapolei! The Kapolei Golf Club features elevated greens, 80 bunkers and five lakes. It delivers a high level of overall playability for golfers of all levels, with all of the greens visible from the tee ground, wide fairways and generous greenside chipping areas.

Anticipated Schedule: 

  • Format: Three Man Scramble
  • Date: Friday, October 17, 2025
  • Registration Fee: $200 per player
  • Golf Shirt: $60 per participant (optional)


Anticipated Schedule: 

  • 9:00am: Registration
  • 10:00am: Shotgun start


Dinner & prizes immediately following tournament.

2025 Malama ʻĀina Day

Join HWWA Conferees for a Volunteer Day at Waiʻanae Kai

Join the BWS and our partner, the Waiʻanae Mountains Watershed Partnership (WMWP) on Friday, October 17, 2025, for a mālama ʻāina event at Waiʻanae Kai. Participants will learn about WMWP’s work and gain an understanding of the BWS’s Waiʻanae Watershed Management Plan. 


Through this hands-on volunteer project, participants will help to maintain an important leeward firebreak in Waiʻanae Valley and learn about drought-tolerant native plants that help slow or stop wildfires from spreading. The day's activities may include weeding, removing, reducing invasive plant material to promote fuel reduction threats such as guinea grass. If the season is right, participants may also be able to collect plant seeds for propagation. 


Attire & Supplies:  

  • Participants should be prepared for hot and sunny conditions.
  • Closed-toe shoes with good tread are required. 
  • Lightweight long pants and long-sleeve shirts are highly recommended. 
  • Hats, sunscreen, and insect repellent are recommended. 
  • All necessary tools, equipment and water will be provided/available at work site. 


Transportation:

  • Transportation between Aulani and event locations (work site and lunch stop) will be provided for the first twenty-five (25) participants who register. 
  • Participants may drive and carpool on their own. Four-wheel drive vehicles are not required.

Additional Information

 Anticipated Schedule:

  • 9:00am: Check-in, board BWS vans
  • 9:15am: Depart Aulani
  • 9:45am: Arrive at worksite
  • 10:00am: Introduction & briefing
  • 10:00 to 11:30am: Work period*
  • 11:45am: Depart worksite
  • 12:00 to 1:00pm: Lunch
  • 1:00pm: Depart lunch site
  • 1:30pm: Arrive at Aulani (est)


* All activities to be monitored by WMWP. There will be a short rest period. 


Participants:  

  • $25 fee per participant
  • Participants must be 8 years of age and older. 
  • Those 17 years and younger must have a parent or legal guardian present.
